    Hello,

I am going to need a set of pushrods for a B Block 500 build. I’m running a 541/544 lift hyd roller cam and it should measure out between 7”-8” inches. (Feel free to advise if I am off on my guess)

Does anyone know where I can have a set made?

    Thank you

Smith Bros are great... But I think they are gonna want a better measurement.. At least within a quarter inch.....

Better buy a pushrod measuring tool. I had a set made by Smith Brothers 2 yrs ago. You're gonna need them to be w/in a 0.10" of what you need. If not closer.

First do your homework on "valve train geometry". Then do what diesel_lv said. Also get yourself a decent caliper gauge. Your going to need specifics when ordering. It's a great learning experience.

If you get calipers to measure the pushrods, you will need a 12" set.
An inexpensive version will work OK, but I picked up a nice used Mitutoyo Dial caliper with case from E-Bay for about $130.

Amazon also lists several. There is a "Fowler" brand for $95.95 that I would be nice if buying new.

I like the dial indicators, not the digital electronic ones because everytime I need to use the electronic ones, the battery is dead.

For sure on the batteries. I went the dubious way of Harbor Freight for the long calipers thinking I would probably never use them again but I have used them a lot and they are still working,,, accurately I hope.

The HF calipers from 5+ years ago have held up pretty well & read with-in .001 of my $300 set of Mitutoyo's... Knowing I like a set of beater calipers for daily non-critical stuff I bought a set about six months ago, they are junk...
