I will be needing quarter panel skins for a 68 Plymouth B body. I find two of the most common is AMD and Sherman. Other than the price, what is the difference in them? . Are Sherman really $100 inferior. Might a person save $100 in purchase and pay $200 more to get them installed ?.............MO

Honestly Mo I don't know. I can tell you I bought quarters from AMD and I was happy. None of this secondary metal stuff is perfect and I'm sure that's what you're getting at. I just know I'm more willing to pay for quality and reliability than save a few bucks and get less than that. One of my pieces had an issue - AMD satisfied me beyond what was even necessary I think. That made me happy and if necessary a repeat customer. Others may have differing opinions....

Just an FYI. Sherman, Goodmark and Goldstar are come from the same manufacturer. The only thing different is the name on the box. Be thankful you can get AMD quarters for your car. They dont make ones for 70 Coronet. As far as the AMD pieces we've bought the shop doing the work has been really happy with them. Once they get the quarters on I can tell you how they liked the Sherman/Goodmark/Goldstar quarters. Just know it may be a while before they are hung.

If you do buy any AMD sheetmetal contact Jeff @ 521restorations.com he provided great service and the best pricing. His prices were better than others by a good bit of money.
