Question for guys that installed own carpet ?

Oh, and remember to position the front piece of carpet properly...the accelerator rubber base should be in the corner of the heel pad, not in the carpet in front of it. Blows me away how many (much nicer than mine!) cars I've seen at shows with the carpet not far enough forward..(and my car is only a driver!)
 
I usually use subfloor glue we use on construction sites. If it is strong enough to bond plywood to floor joists, it will hold the carpet down. I highly recommend it.
