Just bought a new Griffin Rad for my 451 build. Griffin offers 3 different pressure rated caps: 13psi, 14-16 psi, or 22-24 psi. I thought I read somewhere that the 22-24 psi is the way to go so it doesn't lose as much coolant.

Anyone have a recommendation and why?

Did some research and while higher pressure rated caps (i.e. 22-24 psi) could potentially cool better, many times that can be too high of pressure for a given radiator (and/or heater core). Most of the consensus I came across was to run no more than the 14-16 psi cap for better cooling (lower pressure cap raises boiling point of the water/coolant mix), with many hot rodders preferring a 7-8 psi cap. Griffin doesn't seem to offer a 7-8 psi cap for their rads though...
