Should have made notes at the last show I was at. Is there a difference between small block and big block overflow bottles in 73-4 ? A buddy of mine has a 73 RR 400 and mine's a 73 340 car ... we're both missing overflow bottles and researching but I'm seeing different styles for 73-4 while browsing. Was the metal bracket used on all cars ? I've been told there's a style that doesn't use the bracket, just a clip ....... dunno.

Seriously,I am interested in this as well.
I need to get rid of the Volvo bottle the last owner jerry rigged in there...

Doesn't appear anyone here is certain - I found one from a 73 Satellite, the guy emailed me a picture, but it looks nothing like the setup in the Year One catalog. My buddy with the 400 car says it's not right, but the guy swears he pulled from a 73 Sat. I'd like to buy it if it's right for my car (small block) but still ain't certain ...... hard to believe no one's chimed in yet...............

I'll have to go out and check both of mine. I know the bottles are the same on both, not sure of the bracket, but they are both big blocks. I also have one I removed from a '74 small block Satellite, but I don't remember any bracket.

Not sure if this helps, but here is a 73 original SB car and I am sure that bottle is factory. Can't see it all, but you get the point.

My 73 RR 400 has a similar looking bottle but I believe the line comes in from the bottom of the bottle.

Ill take a pic when I can, but it might be awhile...

Well, now I've seen three styles ........ I just noticed the one Year one sells says "not correct for 71-74 B bodies, but will fit......that doesn't help matters.

If i can find the camera ill take a picture of the one in my '74 I know 100% its original. Only thing is its a slant six car but pretty sure it doesnt matter. Ive seen a few washer bottles on ebay in the last few months should be able to find one. just do a search for mopar b body

heres one that looks exactly like the one thats in my '74

oops you want overflow bottle...

let me see what I can find...sorry didnt read it correctly

I'll get a better pic later today, but this is the bottle in my '74 big block. You can have the one I pulled from the '73 Satellite. It's not pretty, but it's cleaned out and not cracked. Also, there is no bracket on the bottle, but there is a circular bracket on the charcoal cannister that has a flange that attaches to the overflow bottle.

That would be cool ..... I'm in no rush but it may come in handy down the road - what would be the best way for me to pick it up ? I'm in World Golf area so the O.P. ain't too far.

I always go to the 2nd saturday show at Food Lion in Fruit Cove. Of course, that was last week. I can bring it on 2/12, just let me know a day or so before, so I can dig it out. Gotta move some Chargers to get to my parts.

Good deal. I think I have the cap with hoses and bolts in a ziplock bag too. Here are a couple different angles of the mounting.

and the reason I have to move the Chargers. The '73 is 2" away from the shelving on the right. I really need a bigger garage.

When working under the hood, it must suck to walk through the house just to get something out of the trunk!

I get thru to the left of the '74, but it's a tight squeeze to get by the front bumper. In November, I inherited my father-in-laws tools and it was 10x what I already had. There are 3 floor jacks, 6 jack stands and 2 creepers hidden under the '73.
