How has everyone refinished the rain gutter? i spent most of the day digging and sanding out the broken body filler. now there are two pieces of metal that meet in the gutter.
my one owner Roadrunner had a vinyl top, but i am not wanting to reinstall it. the gutter could be painted and it would be ok, until you get to the back lower track and the top piece is seen lapping on top of the bottom gutter piece.
i guess it could be refilled and sanded.
any ideas for paint or refinishing the top? i am wanting to just paint gloss black where the vinyl top was.
the Roadrunner is almost ready to go to media blasting.
i am setting up a page on photobucket and will come back and leave the link.
thanks for any assistance or opinions.

The drip rail is welded in place (spot) ensure you reapply a seal sealer there.
I would suggest applying epoxy primer and at least a base cooat of paint. Underneath a vinyl top if not prepped will rust and cause a future headache later.
