Typical Barris Pimpmobile! I remember there was one out in Western Canada. I think it was a prize give-away of some kind.
I got this when I was 13 and have taken it from house to house as I've moved on throughout my life. Why, I don't know!!

When we came to this country in 1964, my aunt and uncle were already here, my mother's sister. She was sponsored by a family named Jacobs. They were related to the fullers, of the Stix, Baer and fuller stores. Stix Baer & Fuller - Wikipedia . They had more money than God and ran in the same circles as the Busch family, Anheuser-Busch. I knew them all and because of my aunt I was allowed in, that's another story. Back to the light, it came out of the old Stix, Baer and fuller building.

When they built the old Busch stadium in 1964 they found tunnels under the site that ran from the river to the old court house. Slaves were unload and went through the tunnels to the old court house to be sold. I had, through my father's old friends that help build the stadium, shackles that lined the walls to hold slaves. I passed them on years ago. Although I've been a collector all my life, the shackles didn't feel right. My families history on both sides of the pond is something I hold dear to me. My son ran a crew of 30 bricklayers that were there to take down the old stadium and build the new stadium. All the high work was done by my son and he was there for two years. His girlfriend worked for Thyssenkrupp and built and installed all thirteen, I think it was thirteen, elevators at the new stadium. They were to get married on home plate. I have hundreds of pictures of the building of the new stadium that my son gave to me that I also hold dear to me. In these pictures you can see the wrecking ball swing and hit the old stadium. I love history!!
