That's where they should have put engine call-outs in 71-74, not where the FSM shows them.

However, this is only the second or third pic I've ever seen of a 71-74 with call-outs on the fender, and I've never seen one in person despite seeing a ton of 383-4, 400-4, and 440 equipped flat hood cars.
 
I really like this color!! I've always liked GM's sea foam green also.
