That picture and the rest of the photos I had of every square inch of it helped me make my mind up years ago. That and the fact that my father wanted one in 65 and couldn't afford it. He didn't live to see it, but I would pick my mother up at the retirement community, and we would drive for hours going anywhere she wanted. Naturally , lunch was a given, absolutely anything she wanted. I remember her saying to me one day, we made it, didn't we. I just looked at her and said, "Yes, you did, and because of you, so did I. I miss so many people that I've lost and have no regrets. I look at my car and I can see them all. Till we meet again. Sorry for the crazy story, somethings just take me to a place that feels warm and fuzzy. The older I get, the worse it gets! LOL...... Ulli
Love the story. My mom used to take a ride on every new motorcycle I bought. If she lived closer I am sure she would enjoy riding in my 65.
