The 1937 V12 Lincoln that Clint Eastwood's character drove in 'Honkytonk Man' (1982). Not exactly the type of car you'd expect an itinerant country singer to be using during the depression, but that's movies for you.

Clint enjoyed the car so much that he bought it for his personal collection after the movie was finished filming.

Another Clint Eastwood car, this was his personal 1973 455 Trans-Am, which he allowed to be used in this scene in 'Thunderbolt and Lightfoot'.

I worked for AMC back then selling these. Too bad they went away, My favorite demo car was a AMC spirit 6 cylinder 4 speed. I sold the last Pacer produced from the factory at our dealership. Those were the days. We did sell Gremlins to.

Poverty hubcap.
That was my first thought. I have one hanging on the wall in my garage that I thought I'd use. Then I got sad thinking about drilling a hole in it, I really like it. !! LOL. The filter top I'm going to use is also in this picture. I'll peel the old Chevy 406 sticker off of it. I've got a few places to go and look. One takes an hour to go through and man, do I get lost in that place. Big old two story storefront on old main street, packed with everything known to God! I'll find it. Thank you!

If you needed a four wheel drive with a family, they were the answer. They were built to take it. Your right, those were the days.
