Tesla doesn't usually advertise itself as a sports car. Even so, the Model S Plaid has managed 1.08 G on the skid pad, better than a lot of Corvettes, and has done the Nürburgring lap in 7:35 seconds, quicker than a Hellcat Charger.That's why Tesla only wants to talk about 1/4 mile performance. Top speed and cornering numbers are embarrassingly pathetic.
