In my little neighborhood they just upgraded the service poles from 30' to 40' poles and a stronger line. Last done in 1972. I let them use my vacant property next door to store all the new poles and equipment while they were doing it and they brought me the old ones so I can build a pole barn which I sorely need.
Watching them do it give you a whole respect of what they do daily.

After i ditched the 76 Aspen wagon my parents gifted me I bought a more door like this in high school for $250. It wasn't close to this nice but ran good.

I had a yellow one of these with wagon wheels yellow.
Perfect for hauling my dirtbike around back in the day.
This one looks pretty decent. 20250410_163523.jpg

I had 2 tone black/silver 81 D50 Power Ram with the mighty 2.6 Semi Hemi and it was one tough truck for what it was.
I had a 79 in the 'Power Wagon' colour scheme, also with the little 2.6 Hemi head motor and 5 speed - one of my very favourite vehicles ever! Did everything with it and went all over the country. Sure wish I wouldn't have sold it...

We had at least three of those engines in the family; two Arrow cars and one D50, which had a five speed. They were surprisingly peppy for a four banger. If I could get traction in the car (it spun easily) it would give a 9 second 0-60 which wasn't bad for 1979. The Canadian versions had two valves only and didn't have the secondary MCA-Jet valve intake.

They were also very smooth with the silent shaft which was good enough that Porsche licensed it to use in their large four cylinder.
