Random picture thread

Induction for the car above, ran well 11.40's NA & put a 1/2"spacer,
doubled up the gaskets under the end/outboard carbs, so my air-cleaner would still fit
& a 250 2bbl plate/shot of N2O under the center carb, was more like 175hp actually
did a lot of street racing, beat quite a few so called 10 second cars, most without the N2O

same car when I 1st built it, Funnycar chassis copy of a Davey Uyehara
I took the F/C body off, put the 23 ford Fiberglass Trends/turtle deck body on
helped built by Don Torte, great fabricator, in Pacheco Ca.,
engine assembled by me, machine by Tri-Valley Machine,
many internal parts from Venolia/Childs & Albert (Uncle Joe Pisano)
301cid 6# per/cid 1806# w/o driver, I'm 250, I may have been 225 at the time
dipped into the 7's 1st time on Methanol, it was built to run Racing Gas
changed the nozzles & fuel
it's run low 8's at 170-ish, when I was 18

Later in the 80's S/E trim 427cid iron block alum. rods, stock forged crank, 13:1 Venolia & Childs & Albert
self ported rect. port iron heads, full Crane 0.750"/0.770 roller with 1.8:1 rockers valvetrain/girdles etc.
