Absolutely nothing wrong with the 50’s 60’s and 70’s here either. Got my first moose tag, when I was 13 years old. Dad had to be around then.
Now you have to have firearms locked in a secure cabinet, locked house isn’t good enough. Can’t be visible in a vehicle. Have to have a firearms possession licence, if you want to purchase you need an acquisition licence to go with the possession part.
All of this because of the gangs in the large cities are smuggling in long guns and handguns.
Even pellet guns and rifles rifles require a FAC (firearms acquisition certificate) if the muzzle velocity is over 490fps I believe.
