Re-pop throttle cable quality

So what's the quality of current re-pop throttle cables? Last one I bought was about 10 years ago for my Duster and went about two miles before the pedal end came apart and lef tme on the side of the road. I assume all the vendors sell the same stuff?

I have bought several cables from Mega Parts in the past couple of years. They have all been good quality. I have seen cheaper versions, so there must be more than one company making them.
