Rear Corner End Cap Gasket?

Anybody know if Chrysler used gaskets on the metal rear corner endcaps on the 70 B Body RR Sat etc? My metal work is near perfect flush fit but now wondering if that metal to metal fit originally had some thin gasket between the two or not.

Enquiring minds want to know….

Yes there should be a gasket in there. Check mega parts mopar.

Same piece on a second gen Charger had a thin piece of plastic between the end cap and the quarter panel

It’s not the same piece as a charger, just the same material.

call DMT first, he is making nice parts in-house to keep the quality up.

Yes thats what I purchased. BUT they are just over 1/16 and stiff like ABS. Looks like the factory used a think plastic sheet like a 7 mil clear. Mine fit well but definitely visible!

Yeah,i agree they are kinda thick to show that much gap as why i chose not to use mine before i sold my 68 RR.
