Rear quarter glass hardware install help

Quick and easy question. Right now I have all of the rear quarter window hardware off the car. I did this with the quarter off. Is it possible to totally install all of the rear glass hardware with the welded quarter on. Trying to avoid buying rollers right now and I want to start welding the quarter panel on.....69 roadrunner hardtop

Is it possible to totally install all of the rear glass hardware with the welded quarter on.

I guess that's the way it was done by the factory...
