I have the same for a 68-69 RR Belv GTX Sat etc.
way lighter than any steel brackets, it left with the old silver car
& crappy *FiberglassTrends (IIRC) bumpers front & rear,
the Lingenfelter brackets were great, a great fit (I have another set on the shelf too)

the alum. bolts are very fragile don't tighten them too much

I had to do a crapload of work to make them FT bumpers presentable

have fun

Those don’t look cheap.

They weren’t bad at all. Consider how much money people spend on forged wheels that might save you 6 or 8 lbs over a set of cast wheels…. These are worth at least that much, and they were less than $200. Probably not much more than someone would have wanted for a pair of OEM brackets.

I’m surprised, that’s not bad.

Is anyone using these aluminum bumper brackets with factory chrome steel bumpers? I emailed Jeff directly also to verify if that is not recommended.

The JL brackets are very nice pieces and save the time of fabricating a set. I've looked them over at Carlisle and they're done nice. A gentleman as well.
Your car will love the dietary menu it's being served now.

Are those something they have on the shelf? That really seems reasonable for that type of part.

Seems to be much more money now. I may make some E body brackets for one of my cars.

A friend built me a set out of carbon fiber. They are full thickness and size. All of the them together weigh 2.5 lbs (stock were 26 lbs). Strong enough to support the stock bumpers. You know me, I got to have my chrome. They weigh 23lbs frt, 26lbs rear. I agree the aluminum ones are a fair price and good weight savings.

I was informed about them from @bobtile Bob Seamon (sorry if I misspelled his name)

contacted Lingenfelter & he sent me the fronts

they hadn't made the rears at that point, but he finished a few sets
& he/they sent me the rears 'free of charge'

great people to deal with
I bought a second set to use on my current RR
(gave him an extra $50, because of the free rears prior, as a perk)
but the Fiberglass frt/rear bumpers, I bought weren't very good quality,
really rough, not very well finished, again (no longer in business)
I was going to do a 'black chrome' (really light) on both
I couldn't get a refund (freaken' crooks) & they were junk to me,
I didn't have the extra time, at the time
so I never corrected/fixed them, painted/coated & installed them...
Still have them sitting on a shelf too...
The blinker/front running lights holes 'were wacked',
needed to do some fiberglass work again...

Sorry to hear you essentially got ripped off on some glass parts….

For this project, I have purchased fiberglass components from both VFN and Larry Augustine (Sled City). Both look very nice to me, I’d give the nod to the VFN items for finish quality, but the Sled City item (front bumper) does appear to be slightly beefier, which is probably good for a front bumper. Larry was a pleasure to work with and is one of us…. A Mopar racer. So I feel good about both purchases.

 VFN (now back in business) are great 1st class products,
we dearly missed them for a while

not so or that sure about Sled City, or Larry
seen some alleged "bad excuses, or accounts of poor customer service/quality-workmanship
& other "alleged" stories from trusted, well-known members had posted, from even on here
But;
I don't know his current situation right now...
I'd certainly hope it is what you say it is now...

good luck

Stinger AAR is back in the saddle as well, but some parts for some cars are not yet being addressed.
Their quality is top notch from what my eyes have seen and hands have felt.
