The head lights that I put into the car have an H4 bulb, 55 watt low beam/65watt high beam. The Ron Francis wiring that I'm using has to relays, 1 for the horn, and 1 for an electric fan. The fan relay is rated at 30 amps, and I figured that the headlights on high beam would draw 12 amps max.

I have a total of 4 "systems" in the car.
1. Eng/trans computers with their own relays
2. Electric fans with their own relays
3. Vintage Air system with its own relays
4. Head/tail/turn/flasher/brake lights

Will number four be good enough to use the single relay rated at 30 amps?

i think it should be fine to take that load....but if you have doubts, it's easy enough to wire up a seperate relay for them

I have separate relays for high and low beams alone in one nifty bot under the hood. It may be overkill but if you look at any late model thats the way they are wired
