That seems pretty cheap, at least in today's world.

Anecdotal information only, based on small sample size, but when I drove these things as transportation, the PA weather and road salt ate the cars up long before the factory electrical components failed.I agree, there are estimates of a life span but again, these are not absolutes.
I agree, it claims "Made by an original Mopar / Chrysler supplier" so even if thats true doesn't mean its exactly the same as stock. I just impulse bought it so we will see how it goes.FWIW that appears to be an aftermarket replacement
Do you like rude house guests? Why does “pardon our interruption “ appear every time someone posts a link to an eBay item?
Yep, that’s what it is. But like I said, I’ve bought a few things from Rick, and idk where he’s getting his parts or what he’s doing , but they’re affordable, or cheap if you want , but they workFWIW that appears to be an aftermarket replacement
Idk where he gets his stuff , but it seems fine , I have one on my car and I didn’t know I was suppose to count starts, but it’s had quite a few and it’s fineI agree, it claims "Made by an original Mopar / Chrysler supplier" so even if thats true doesn't mean its exactly the same as stock. And the old Mopar gear reduction starters amperage draw is rated at 400-450 amps according to the FSM. That's a fresh starter and not a 40 year old worn out unit that probably draws 100 more amps. I have tested starters that draw close to 800 amps.
THANKS for the numbers… good to let him know to my “good old friend” LOLAnd the old Mopar gear reduction starters amperage draw is rated at 400-450 amps according to the FSM. @Joeychgo , see post 40.
It must be an E Bay thing? The link does work. There were members wondering what the "Pardon our Interruption" was all about.
