Remote Mirror control location on 66 Satellite

Putting a remote control mirror on my 66 Satellite that didn't previously have on. I need some locating dimensions to help put it where it belongs. Thanks! Mark

Yes make sure the hole is the right dimension

Hard (neigh impossible) to make a hole like that without a punch.

I'd be tempted to buy the harbor freight electrical knockout and grind the flat into the male portion, then fill in the female side with JB weld or something.

I would simply drill a smaller hole in the middle then work outward with files forming the shape of the hole in the photo. But that’s just me.
