Reply field already has a quote from a previous post

I was reading this thread http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/mopar...a-weird-question.132114/page-3#post-910693336 and when I got to the last thread there is the usual reply box but it was not empty. Instead, it already contained the text of one of the previous posts as if I wished to quote it. I did not intend to post a reply or quote anyone.

you must have started a reply that you never posted --- and it saved it. It does this automatically in case you start a reply and need to come back to it. All you have to do is delete what's in there.

Soooooooooo, what about the multi quote thing? It says it's been added, do another one and it says it's been added. But then when you want to make your comments and reply, there isn't jack to be found.
How do you make the "multi quote" thing work so they come up?
