These look very attractive for the price, I was wondering if anyone had installed the RS in their '67 B-body with the original chrome bezel and what your comments are on the system. I had the generic unit in my '68 and wasn't terribly impressed, but the RS looks much-upgraded.

What does the readout look like shining through the period-correct screen protector? That's something I am curious about, and can't find a picture of. It seems like it would be hard to read the #'s through that screen protector. Also, can you use the factory knobs on the unit instead of the ones supplied?

I am also considering running a very long usb extension under the carpet and between the seats so I can charge my phone without a cable hanging out of the dash.

I put one in my 67, I used the original knobs and the screen protector. Install was straight forward as it can be for a lego kit. I had the entire dash out of the car when I fit it in. The LCD display shows through the screen protector but it’s clearly there.

The blue tooth is pretty cool. It also has a jack for audio and USB input that I buried just behind the dash. I don’t think I’ll need it.

Just tossing in my quick comments as I put in a Hermosa in my '63 convert a couple years ago. The hunt for a suitable shaft-mount radio giving the features I wanted took a lot of searching. For what I really wanted I had to get a bunch of other features I didn't; but know many others would want like Bluetooth. I wanted a flash drive for tunes rather than a CD or using BT for this. The radio I finally selected also didn't require dash mangling but I did have to machine a partial cover plate and cut out a part of the radio bezel. That wasn't a problem as I had a spare anyway and kept my pristine Plymouth bezel untouched and in storage. I was able to stay with original knobs. Problem? Same thing I've had for all other digital read out...can't see the damn thing in daylight driving.
