I'm in the middle of putting in a Gen III motor and RFE transmission into my 69 Roadrunner one problem I came across was tranny shifter. No one really makes a shifter for the RFE accept American shifter. I didn't want to go in that direction because I already have the B&M Quick silver shifter in my car and it fit under the factory console. So here are a few pics of what I did to use my shifter with the RFE transmission I made a plate to mount the cable to the existing cable mount. As for the linkage at the tranny, the existing arm was used and I knocked out the old pin and drilled the hole a little larger to accept the B&M adapter. To my surprise the hole seems to be in the perfect spot I was able to get all my gears.
