RM23H8AXXXX Lynch Rd rare cars?

I came across this on another site. Ever heard of such a thing? I know better than to believe everything I read....

"Reason I’m asking Danny..... the 7th prefix..... A...... designated assembly plant as “Lynch Road”, I believe that’s a pretty rare car...... according to Galen Govier, there were only 21 Roadrunners built with that prefix (assembly plant) in 1968.... mine is one of them..... as of about 5 years ago mine was “1 of 6” known to exist"

That doesn’t sound right at all. My 68 GTX was built at Lynch Road and I’m sure a zillion birds were built there too. Some one else on here will be able to verify the approximates but you’re right not to believe everything you read/hear.

Don't think many people (if any) would buy a car because it was 1 of 6 RR built at Lynch Road. JMHO
There to much of this "x" number with name the "option" it's rare. There maybe a few options (not counting engine/ trans option) like Panther Pink or some other visible option that the might be desirable and rare.
Just because it's rare doesn't mean it's desirable. JMHO

Maybe not desirable (worth more) but the uniqueness is what makes it stand apart from a run of the mill Mopar. If they were all the same it would be boring.

There were three plants that produced 68 RRs.
Of the three, Lynch Road, probably, produced the most.

I'm helping a friend restore a 1968 Lynch Road RR right now. Nothing rare about it at all...

i doubt lynch road produced the most from my experience, but def not rare

Mine's a Lynch Road car. Does it make it worth a few grand more? I don't think so.
