Robert E. Lee.

Robert E Lee was without doubt the finest officer ever to command an army! Period.
Not Napolean nor Rommel nor Hannibal nor Patton nor MacArthur can even hold a candle to this man.
He time and again whipped an Army twice his size and better supplied. Sometimes the opposing Army even had his plans (Antiedam).
His officers and men would follow him to the gates of hell if he led them there.

This one man is bar none my favorite human ever. And his legacy means more to me than the life of every snowflake on the damn planet!
I believe, and you can correct me if i'm wrong, that the army of northern virgina still holds the record for an army inflicting the most casualties on the u.s. army. grant lost many thousands of soldiers to lee's forces.

Lee was the epitome of a true gentleman. He gave up the opportunity to be Commander of the Union forces for his heart was in Virgina. After the war he was left penniless as the Yankees took Arlington
And made it a national cemetery, without compensation. He is and always will be the greatest American hero.
Winston churchhill made a statement the lee was the noblest American.

the federals stole the rugs and silverware out of the house as war trophies. it's my understanding that using the "lawn" at Arlington as a cemetery was an act of revenge by a federal officer because his son was killed in battle.

Grant, Pope, McClellan,Burnside and Hooker all sent men to die by the thousands against a for who was insufficient in numbers and poorly supplied.

Bottom line we have a generation of kids that have no clue of history, belives everything they are told and has no abilities to think for themselves.

Question I have and I pretty much know the answer but where do all these groups get their money?
george soros, the premier scumbag! as close to the anti-christ that we'll see our life time.

I did not see whatever picture must have been in the OP.
It doesn't seem to be there now.
But if it is not too much off topic, I wanted to share part of a letter I received from the World War II memorial fund by Gen. P. X. Kelly this week.
I'm afraid historical illiteracy is systemic.
Do people only hear what they want to believe?
Perhaps judging historical figures by today's standards just adds to the problem.

Why is this thread in jokes and funny stuff. I am in the South and this not a joke. Robert E. Lee is a hero here. Like a Snowflake, I am offended! But for a different reason.

Suck it up "Buttercup"

Ha Ha (That is from another thread, only kidding)
Yes: simply outrageous,
The events that have arisen lately.
"The Needs of the many have been outweighed by the needs of the few/one"
Sadly, you are correct, OFFENDED, period!
I was born and raised in Rhode Island, homes of the Underground Railroad...
I too had a "Strong Sense" of Northern Patriotism until I read much about the Civil War
Also, I visited Gory Island while in Dakar, Senegal
"Their OWN people from other Tribes sent them here and England as slaves!
Not "White America!
Now, I'm in FULL support of protecting the South's heritage and History.
Robert E. Lee was truly a remarkable man AND this has nothing to do with Racisim!
it is a calibrated approach to bring down America

Race wasn't anything I even considered until the last 5 years or so.
Now in my opinion, our godless society, lack of Morals, and the worthless and lazy younger generation can be placed firmly up the *** of our first black president.

Bill Clinton?

No. Bill Clinton had the ability to at least act like an honest white man.
