Reminds me of a Mercedes 450SLC I saw that had gone down an elevator shaft at a parking garage in Philly about 45 years ago. It landed upside down and the attendant didn't make it.

Add another 50% for all the additional parts it will need besides bodywork.
I agree! Almost anything can be fixed in this world, with enough money. So we buy the car for, say 10,000. We know 65 and the 10, and around 35, for additional parts. Add 10% for additional things found as this project evolves. If the original owner is still with us, and the sweet payout he got, why isn't he fixing it. It's really not junk, but for your average guy, it might as well be.

I'd say to add 20% for the unknown items. Nothing is cheap these days.

I'm trying to be kind here, your right! If it was a great deal the buyers would be lining up. $9,300 isn't to bad, park it in my backyard with a tarp over it and spend the rest of my life bragging about my V code car. I think not. I spent almost twice that on my Coronet this year and you wouldn't know it if I didn't tell you. It's only money.........

This car appears to be selling at about a tenth of its value before the crash. There is room to repair the body and get it back into shape. This was a restored car,not every component will need to be restored or replaced. I figure the car will sell for $12,500 and was a $125,000 car before the crash.
