My worst was an autorotation from 4500ft, after taking catastrophic battle damage to control surfaces.

And sometimes you can walk away from one that's not so good.....but it can't be a bad one So far, my worse one has only been a single 'bounce' and that wasn't bad.

What is meant by "ballooned"?

Guys come in with too much speed, pull the stick back to flare/three point the airplane and it shoots back into the air about 15 feet above the runway. Drop the nose and full power is the only save, this guy just held the stick.. stalled and slid in backwards!
