I've been touching up rusty areas of my engine bay and it occurred to me that "Hey, the engine bay just might get hot enough to ignite this stuff." I've been using the Rust-Oleum 7830730. The Safety Data Sheet for that one says "does not support combustion." On other parts of the car, I've used Rust_Oleum 248658, which does support combustion. I'm guessing that, in both cases, this refers to the product in the container and not "applied and dried." But, I don't know that for a fact. I'm not so worried about the 7830730 but I think I used the 248658 on the power steering pump bracket, and definitely used it under the trunk where the exhaust runs.

I doubt there is really a problem but I thought I'd ask.
