Anybody using superstock springs on their 75-79 Cordoba? What was needed to install ? I plan on removing the isolators and use earlier B body shock plates.

I installed S/S springs on my 79 magnum. There are 2 ways to do this:

You need to get the hangers for a 71 up B-body as well springs for a 71 up as well as shock plates from a 71-74, then cut the seat pads on the diff and weld on old style seat pads. Make sure you get imperial shocks for longer travel as well.

2nd way is very similar but instead of cutting the seat pads you will have to fabricate sort of a huge washer to take up the space that the rubber isolator pads have (Seat pads on later cars have a gigantic hole for rubber iso's)
drill a hole in the middle so that you can center the spring bolt. again the same hanger are needed as well as shock plates and longer shocks.

setup made an enormous difference in the cars handling and launch.

Thanks, I hear that the front spring hangers needed to be longer, now I know what parts to look for.
