Is there such a THING?

A 1971 Plymouth fuselage style SATELLITE 2 door coupe?

Or would that be a 1971 Plymouth SATELLITE SEBRING?

I am thinking ALL the FUSELAGE style 2 door coupes for 1971 Pymouths are satellite SEBRING, SEBRING Plus, roadrunner or GTX.

Not just a SATELLITE only.

Aren't the square-ish 4 doors the Satellites?
Not the Satellite Sebrings?

?????

I believe you are correct for 1971 as I remember.

I bought a bunch of 383 Two door old detective cars from LAPD
and the were Bare bones (Even Manual Steering) = They were all
labeled with just Sebring

Satellite Sebring was a premium 2 door hardtop only. Also had a higher trim level of Sebring Plus.

Just Sebring or just satellite?

VIN

RP is Satellite Sebring Plus

RH is Satellite Sebring

RL is Satellite

RS is GTX

RM is Road Runner

Actually, the Satellite was the only coupe of the bunch. The Sebring, Sebring Plus, Roadrunner, and GTX were all considered hardtops.

On MYMOPAR.COMs YouTube channel there is a dealer promo film that goes over all the Satellite models for 1971.
Interesting view.

Yes, a 1971 2 door coupe is a Satellite. The Satellite is the basis for the Plymouth B-body lineup, that includes the Sebring, Sebring Plus, road runner, and GTX as you go to higher trim level/price class.
