I still want to know how many people actually sell their houses to those folks that send a letter every six months, some with a ridiculous offer of about 60% of market.

Gotta be enough for them to keep doing it.

I never respond to text, emails, or phone calls about money, EVER. Come get me if I owe you, with proof. The world is full of people who work hard at screwing you, but never at a real job.

I actually offer a calculated counteroffer on our houses.
It's based on 20 years if rental income plus the appreciated price of a sale at that time.

If someone wants to give me that today, we can talk.
Other wise I'll just wait....while I collect $$$$$.

I think at one point the government sided on their right to do business, even if it's not welcome and on my dime and time.

Word of advice. No bill will ever be texted to you. Ever. Snail mail or paperless account services only. Anything else is a scam. Email and text bills are scams. Never ever call a phone number that is given to you to call about your account, subscription renewal, bills, or anything that includes you giving someone else money. If in doubt, call your institution, or log on to your online account.
