What is the correct (or close) sealant to use between the fender mounting flange and inner fender well? 1965 B body.

I'll take a shot. I THINK it's the same stuff that was used for the seams, seam sealer, but I could be wrong. Someone on here should have the correct answer or confirm what I said.
