I needed to replace a headlight on my 64 Dodge. It is the three prong hi-low outer headlight.
The number was not legible, so took it to the parts store. Yup, the parts guy was one of THOSE. He knew nothing about these " outdated "seal beams. Finally I asked another parts guy to help. He brought me some oddball , no name one that didn't even have a bulb number on it. Only thing it had was 35 watt / 35 watt.
What number of seal beam halogen, name brand, should it be and the wattage for at least stock performance? Any " high output" halogens recommended?................Thanks for your help.........................MO
