Has anyone here taken their seat springs completely out and just used firm foam rubber? How did that work out? Thanks for any input............................MO

I have not, so I can't provide any input there - sorry. I will say that quality high density foam is expensive, so doing what you are talking about may not be a cheap modification!

My thought was to make a plywood base, so the foam wouldn't have to be so thick........................MO

No seat springs would make a hard ride! Why do you want to do away with the springs?

Driver side seat springs are always worn out and saggy. Not very "springy"
I am 6"4" and weigh 270 lbs. ........................MO
