Do you OWN IT??? tried to buy one once. U Haul at that time said "we do not sell them- to much liability", "We cut them up". But that was in 2006 When I went to Delaware to bring home my 66!

Yes, a tire rack. I will unbolt it and sell it as I will never use it. The trailer is a 2000.

Of course, if you don't like the looks of the 66 Dodge pickup, perhaps you might consider a 66 Dodge Town Panel or Town Wagon as a tow vehicle. The body dates from the mid 50's and the grille remained unchanged from 1960 through to it's last year of production in 1967. The yellow 2 wheel drive Town Panel in the photo is a '66. The window version with a back seat was the Town Wagon. The turquoise 4x4 Town Wagon shown is a 63. These are not mine. Found the pictures on line.

i bought 1 10 years ago from a guy who bought it from U haul before they stopped that practice..
took off the surge brake setup and converted it to electric brakes.

Maybe, but mine pulls hard and smooth. I got two of them with considerable miles on them (factory installed in vehicles intended for them) and they both have been flawless - and fun!

My haul rig. 07 Cummins 3500 and a trailer I bought new, probably in late 80's? Repainted it once, many years ago. Just put new bearings, U-bolts/nuts, wheels/tires, lights and wiring. I was going to get a new one last year, but after pricing them, well yeah, brought my old one back up to specs.
Nice E bodies!
Sox & Martin had a nifty setup with the trailer behind the hauler. Note the ramps in the bottom picture - no need to unhitch the trailer to get both cars off the rig.

Here's my hauler and trailer... It's a 16' and has a 10K GVW.
Getting the trailer has been one of the best decisions I have made automotive wise...such a handy unit to have for all kinds of things, hauling equipment, vehicles, household items etc.
Even brought my new to me 11' camper home on it since my truck didn't have camper bars yet... ;)

I built this trailer from scratch in 2008. It was originally designed to fit the '67 Charger perfectly, but the Challenger is short enough I can comfortably haul it and the Race Week trailer. It has an open center, allowing me to use it as a work platform. I just used it to drop the roasted trans out of the Challenger about 3 weeks ago and will pull the car back up on it for reinstallation this weekend. The snowy picture was taken this February as I was leaving for Sick Week in Florida. Hauled 5500 miles round trip, no problems. It did haul the '68 Charger up from CA with the Race Week trailer on the back, but it was maxed on length. Had to be careful turning because the car had to sit so far forward it could make contact in a tight turn.

I rolled the car forward a few inches and the trans dropped straight through the opening and slid it on a towel out from under the trailer. I used the straps to lower it instead of a jack. SOOO much easier than a trans jack and the car on jackstands.
