I recently painted my 64 Fury with single stage. It came out pretty good except for a couple of runs on thr rear quarter by the door opening.I sanded the runs flat but there is a discoloration where the runs were. was told you can,t blend them in with more paint.Should I paint the whole panel or paint the bad spots and clear the whole mess.Any ideas? The car is white. Thanks

That's a common problem with SS paint. Blending does not go well with SS, and using BC/CC is an option, but, the Cleared panel will appear to have more depth and gloss generally and will have better holdout.
Is it a metallic or solid colour? If solid, repaint the panel with SS may be an option.

Yeah, you should have went BC/CC alot easier to paint and much better results, I just painted a Dodge Ram Black with a $200.00 BC/CC kit off Ebay
gallon of base and gallon of clear all reducers man this thing looks great just finished cutting and buffing it and it looks better than the factory paint job!
did you buff it out? kinda hard to see why it would not match?

With a single stage non-metallic, especially white, you should be able to spot-paint the effected area and blend the whole business in together. Metallics...not so much.
