Did any of the original aluminum intake manifolds have CH6 or CH6B on them?

No. I don’t even think the aluminum non painted over the counter “Hustle Stuff” intakes had that. I have an aluminum one on my 5/70 Charger that was never painted, and it doesn’t have that on it. I’m not sure when that showed up but after ‘72 is a guess.

I believe that is a 6 pack manifold for a 383/400 low deck engine.

An original A12 aluminum manifold had a funny looking 6 in the part number that is cast into the intake manifold.

My 383 intake has DP6B

CH6 was added on manifolds sold through Edelbrock, ones sold by Chrysler whether OE or Hustle Stuff did not have it...Later Direct Connection & Mopar Performance manifolds did have it...

Has anyone documented all these manifolds? The only one That Im sure of is the A12 with the wonky 6. Then there a cutoff 6, a 6 over a wonky 6, CH, CH6B...very confusing.

Thank you.

Edelbrock coded their big block manifolds "DP(x) for dodge/Plymouth for the low deck engines, and CH(x) for the chrysler rb engines.
My A12 manifold has the wonky 6, the over the counter one has the CH6, pretty shabby edelbrock logo, pretty bad core shift, and lousy port openings. I'd use it anyway...... if I had carbs!
Oh, and don't forget. All the oem assembly line installed manifolds were painted orange.
