Southland Dragway tribute show. Houma, La.

Southland Dragway was a track in Houma that closed in the 80s. Lots of well known racers from the area, especially Candies and Hughes, Joe Tuton, and a number of other "tip of the spear" Mopar guys.
There was a "reunion" show today and some classic and still racing today cars came out. Enjoy!

Gotta have a lot of faith that the rear differential won't come apart.

Ah man! I wish I'd known I would have went! My dad lives in Houma, looks like some awesome cars where there. Love the old dragsters.

I found out at the last minute. Apparently this was their first event. Really good turnout for a first event.
