Spark plug wires

Looking to purchase a new set of plug wires for my 383. The ones I have are fine except for numbers 7 and 8 due to the wire running over the block because of the HP manifolds. The wires I have are just black nothing special wires but two of them are way to short now…suggestions??

A set of date coded repro wires should work.

It’s a 70 383 in a 64 Fury, I’m not concerned with date coded wires, just start it and go. No 8mm Taylor wires, just 7mm black wires.

150% agree. I buy Taylor universal wires and have the appropriate crimp tool, wires always fit perfect that way.

I've had this one for quite a few years. It's nice because it uses standard interchangeable dies so you can use it for all kinds of different tasks, from crimping our Packard-style connectors to various non-automotive electrical connectors and ferrules. It comes equipped for plug wires but for other stuff you'd just need to get the correct die set.

Looks like it should do the job. If you go this route a little silicone lube sure help the boots slide.
