SRP Pistons

I haven't, but I used Icon pistons, they had more of a cc dish.

There's a guy that has the Wiesco pistons on FB selling complete set of .030 & .055 NIB for $395....
He might be a member here. .

Those are the same pistons (SRP) I have in my setup. I just got it running a few months ago, but I am very happy with them. They looked great and everything measured spot on with mics. I actually just changed to some different heads, so I was able to get a look at the top of the pistons and the cylinder walls and they looked good. I filed the rings for nitrous. I'm getting ready to run a 250 shot, and have no worries whatsoever about the pistons. Top quality product IMO.

I have those in my 440. I run a 150 shot in that motor and have had no issues. For the price I think they are a decent piston.

SRP makes a good value piston. Or I should say J&E does :)...lol

SRP are a lower priced line of JE, the difference being the MOPAR SRP Pistons are 4032 alloy and NOT recommended for more than "maybe" a 100 shot of Nitrous.... that's it.... that's ALL !
I don't care WHAT you filed your rings to... if you were planning a 250 shot of steroids, just say'in here.... you got the WRONG PISTONS !
Much past a 100 shot with a 4032 alloy... it is not "IF" but rather "WHEN" pin boss cracks will propagate on the Cam & Barrel design,
due to the higher silicon content of the 4032 vrs 2618 alloys.
Think of the "4032" as a "HYPEREUTECTIC" Piston Forging, the same thing making it strong also making it "brittle" just like a KB Hyper.

NOT trying to rain on your parade so much as save you from potentially a very expensive Engine failure ? don't believe me ? Best phone JE and ask/check for yourself with them what they think about a 250 shot on their SRP Forgings OK ?
What can a phonecall hurt ?

The SRP's are a great Piston ! No doubt about that, but for Nitrous using ANYBODY's Forged Pistons, you need to go with a 2618 Alloy, which in this case are reserved for the higher priced "JE" brand itself.
Same goes for WISECO(2618 alloy), and their cheaper line "Pro-Tru" (4032 alloy)
