Pulled the interior out of the 70 RR I purchased late last year. Spent last winter fixing the steering and gave it a tune up then drove it around this past summer trying to get the "feel" of the car trying to get an idea of all I need to change and/or fix. My first Mopar so it is a totally different type of car then the GM cars I am used to when it come to the ride, body/interior and road noise, etc...
Floor looks pretty nice.....no rust at all. Not sure if any floor panels had been replaced in the past (no real experience on body work or welding) but will have a couple Mopar buddies take a look at it for me. Photos are right after I vacumed the floor but have not "cleaned" it with any cleaners yet. The doors and inside rear quarter panels look just as good. No rust any where. Lucked out.
So plans are to add power windows, lay in some sound matting in the floor, firewall and inside the doors and rear interior quarter panels, install a nice sound system, replace the "silly" rally clock with a Tic-Toc-Tac, replace the stock steering wheel with a smaller one (probably a Tuff wheel looking one), and see if I can get the stock gauges to work correctly hopefully by just replacing the voltage limiter behind the gauge cluster (rally).
Will post photos when it is done sometime before summer.........hopefully....LOL
PS: Other changes I hope to do are replacing the 4 wheel drums brakes with a Wilwood disc brake kits (front and rear) and get the A/C working (most of the under hood pieces are missing all cept the compressor).
The front part of the floor
Rear part of the floor
