Hi all, who knows what the size was for the steel wheels used on the 1969 Charger Daytona?

I guess they where 15" but don't know the width of them. As there are different sizes around I want to make sure. Thanks.

Hi, don't have wheels yet, just need the info so I can get the good size. Car wil have disc brakes.
Oh ok, so you're not concerned about what's " correct" for your specific car.
I'd just get some 15x6's and call it a day.

It looks like both of the optional wheels, road wheels and Magnums, were both 14s. What I found was that hemis, and (supposedly) some track pack optioned 440 cars had 15s,with F70-15 tires. (The 69 Sixpack cars used 15x6, with G70-15s).
I would guess that the 15s put on hemi cars and track pack cars would also be 15x6. I don't think 15x7 was available till 1970.
It looks to me that the majority of the Daytona's got 14x6, in some fashion.
If your car is a 440/727 car, I'd bet about 95% chance it had 14x6 and F70-14s.

I'd put 15" steelies on it, with redlines, if it was my car.

440 had 14 X 5.5

426 had 15 X 6

Disc brakes don't matter, 14" wheels fit over them just fine.
Magnums were not available in 1969, just road wheels with trim rings in 14 X 5.5"
No 14x6 wheels on a 1969 b-body.

Thanks for the replies all. For the record, my car is a 1969 Charger that I'm thinking about making a tribute out of it using a Janak kit. It's a 440/727.

Just needed the info what the correct size would be for the steel wheels on a Daytona. So if I would go correct, it's 15x6, for the looks I might go for 15x7. I'll give it a thought ;)

Well a 440 car would be 14x5.5" but it's 5 nuts to swap a wheel, put anything on you want
