Nope. Just can't get that column to drop. It comes down about an inch and no more.

no not really

I've been really lucky not needing one "yet"
I did look into new glass from AMD (the body panel guys)
thru Summit racing IIRC

& Mancini Racing, Clinton Township Mi., has or had them

& a place in Shingle Springs Ca. had them
I really didn't want to ship them
if I do change them I'll just drive to Shingle Springs Ca.
& pick them up

Hi - my name is Pat and I own a 71 Satellite which has been cloned into an LAPD police car of that era. It has authentic markings, lights, and the interior and all equipment is era-correct.

I am looking for info to lower the steering column to remove the instrument cluster. The shop manual says to remove the upper column clamp and that will lower the column. I have removed the three nuts from the studs from the column bracket to no avail. I would like to drop the column to seat level if possible.

that car was a popular body style. for a cop car
should be able to find it closer
you may be able to source it a lot closer than
coming to Calif. for a windshield

what windshield would be a crossover/cross-reference fit
from alike models either

My dad told me that model was used as a police car so he was surprised I couldn't find a 4 door being manufactured. I've found plenty of 2 door windsheilds. Thanks for the info. I will look into them
