Spent a few hours today installing a stereo system in my car and also mounted my gauges on it. I’m up in the air about the way It looks let me hear some opinions of it. I will not be offended about negative comments, so here are the pictures.

Nice for a stealth look......but could be a PITA when driving to reach behind the shift lever.

I have done something similar with my GPS on a temp spring clip. Gets annoying sometimes.

Clean car BTW.

I started to do the same thing and at the last minute changed my mind. My car had the exact radio the OP has and I decided to go with a retro redondo. Has everything that I need.
RetroSound Redondo RT (Chassis Only)

Looks nice! Well done! I like it.

I do agree with kiwi on the reach around on the shift lever, could be problematic if not careful. With todays technology and these older cars that doesn’t blend well and there are only so many option!

It looks fine.
Personally, it looks like I would hit my knee on the gauge pod a lot. Only you know if you fit in your car though, I am not driving it lol. I would pick there for the gauges vs one of those awful A pillar pod things. Or screwed on top of the dash. At least down there they are not obnoxious.
