Suburban Headliner Cleaning?

I found a used headliner for my '62 Savoy Suburban, which is several separate sections of the white perforated "cardboard-looking" material. It's in good shape, without any serious stains. I'd like to clean it, without doing any damage, before I install it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

How dirty is it ? You might want to post some pics to get the best answers

First thought, since it's old and original it might not respond well to cleaning so just leave it as is.
