Final report for this thread, from me anyway.
Drove the car and have it tuned the way I want it. This cam is great, nice idle and coming off idle when you pull out is really nice too. This cam does not sound lumpy or anything but it’s a great replacement HP cam IMO. You can set the idle pretty low if you want it to sound like it means business. I had it down around 600RPM when I set my air screws and it was pretty smooth down there.
I still have some timing left, I’m all in at 31* and no sign of pinging. The 67 440 distributor doesn’t have hardly any mechanical advance in it, my base was like 15*. Vacuum is real nice too.
Just like many have already said, if your looking for a good restoration cam this is a good one. Good price too. I installed it with the Summit lifters too.
