fresh page...... and change is in the air

last Saturday was our anniversary and the bath tub in the "open projects" thread was a gift...... so obviously nothing happened with The Mellon.

I trashed the shop, the yard, and the house over the past couple months...... and I have family coming in this week

with weather moving in I spent a couple days outside cleaning up, helped the wife inside the house, and eventually got to cleaning my hell hole.

I spun the AMX 90* and opened up an area where I can put a table, and roll the engine in and out of the safety of my shipping container.

I need to button the engine, and build my dash....... the bodywork thing was kicking my ***; so glad that's over.

I really need to get back to some sort of normal; and buckle down on the other cars for a bit. I don't see the engine and dash screwing me up like the body did..... so Sundays will continue

Do you ever wonder how long a fresh transmission can sit before you use it?
My first thought would be that time should not be an issue, that any quality rebuild should work the day you buy it or ten years later if it was in dry storage.
I had a 727 that was rebuilt for me, I waited for my existing trans to show signs of failure so it sat for almost 3 years before I used it.....and it was AFU from the start.
I had a guy rebuild a ThermoQuad, he said to install and use it right away. I didn't and it pukes gas like the floats are stuck down.
