This will maybe get this thread moved to politico. I won't dissertate myself, don't need to end up with another posse on my ***, lol. However, a couple links about a book released in 1985, the first section sourced 20,000 pages of declassified(though much redacted)CIA files that were acquired by Authors through FOIA. One link is website based around book, the other is a wiki gloss over on the book. Book has extensive glossary & index, loaded with Footnotes that cross over to publication/source of that particular piece of information written on.

"ACID DREAMS" book is about a lot of history, not just drug related stuff.

Mentioned in the book is a Friend of my Late Brother, a dealer Who was murdered & had his left arm cut off. It was a week or so before SFPD caught the guy in a car & Shab's arm was under a blanket in the back seat. Shortly before His death, Shab had done a painting with an arm in the centerfield.

Jimi and some friends were "tripped" by Government agents with experimental LSD produced in a secret lab "somewhere" under Government supervision which was allegedly being used by our INTEL team to use on Soviet Agents during interviews...

So, after getting to know the "Bladecutter" and developing a relationship with this fine Dude, I found a company that makes the "custom" plates....

MK-Ultra roots were in a concept of 'war without destruction', a joint program with OSS/CIA & the AF
(General William J. Creasy). In the 40's, there was an island Town whose grain supply became infected with the mold ergotomine(the organic compound needed in the distillation of LSD-25 before it was learned how to fully synthesize the drug). Well, the populace of the town went whacko psychedelic.(getting off off on psychedelics without knowing one has ingested a drug can be devestating....i've had a mickey slipped me but since i already had experience with psychedelics, i knew what was going down)The book written on the island incident is i believe called "The Day of Saint Elmo's Fire". This gave the powers the idea that wars could be fought by mass inebreation of city populations & the defenses, therefore able to neutralize & minimize destruction & death, & take technologies, properties intact. So after deciding on aerosolized gas as a vehicle of delivery, the experiments were carried out in New York subways on unwitting participants.
The CIA kept psychics/mediums on payroll for outlandish purposes like trying to contact agents who lost their lives while in the field, trying to determine what they learned that got them killed. Hookers were kept on payroll too......plenty of bizzaro stuff done.
LSD-25 is called that, simply because it was the 25th compound derived from ergotomine, by Albert Hoffman at Sandoz Laboratories in Switzerland in 1938. He only learned of its psychedelic properties because of accidentally spilling a bit on His fingertips, about 75 micrograms, a low dose but enough to get a buzz. Then He perfomed tests with a Colleague, Hoffman would take lysergic acid diethylamide 25 & the partner monitored & took notes. A few sessions took place & then things were put to bed. In 43 is when the OSS learned of acid, went to Sandoz to acquire quantity(& formula)for testing. They were interested in it for use as an interrogation drug,,,,,,they(in concert with Military) were already synthesizing THC for interrogation purposes.

Actually Mark, 1st time i took acid was in 69 in Mexico City D.F. I went to school there in 69/70. After coming back to U.S. i continued use of in Tucson,, in 71 in San Francisco is where i became familiar with CIA full strength acid, the Bay Area was infested with it....a CIA hitman named Ronald Stark was supplying the black market mfger's(like Owsley, Whom i met)with the neccessary ingredients. San Fransisco was their 'open lab'. All the different names, like orange sunshine, owsley purple double dome, blotter, window pane/clear light, etc were just gimmick vehicles, there is only one pure form of acid, LSD-25,(a liguid)regardless of what it was put on.
