Suspenders, belt, rope?

I put on a pair of suspenders for the first time this week. I got tired of the belt and how it bunches up the buckle area on my pants & jeans. I'll be damned if I don't like the suspenders 100% more over a belt!

Now, to put on some pants and see how it really works! LOL!

Seriously, I'd always seen suspender usage as a sign of "old-fart-ism", but I'm amazed at the overall comfort and if I dare say so, I look better using suspenders versus a belt.



So, what is your preference? Belt? Suspenders? A tow rope? You don't need anything to hold your trousers up? I don't know what made me think of this, but here it is, right??? LOL!

I use Hikers. Very comfortable
Can use them under or over shirts

Been wearing them for years. Don't like the stress a belt puts on my gut and aggravates the diverticulitis.

Good 'ol fashioned contractor grade Carhart bibs do the trick for me......

i'm suspended all the way . back issues started when i was wearing belts . so i cast them aside and i've been wearing suspenders ever since .

I’m at that point, tired of pulling up my pants and moving the belt up a notch. Standing in the hall the other day and my pants fell to my ankles, now getting used to them is another story, don’t like anything on my shoulders. Maybe those one piece maintenance suits?

I have to say Rednecks know comfort.

Bib coveralls are comfy especially if you got a gut or thin waist that does not hold up pants.
